Dorothy House Christmas Tree Collections

Dorothy House in Chippenham are once again offering to collect your Christmas tree and are asking residents who take up this offer to make a donation and support your local hospice to continue to provide FREE care to our local community.

There volunteers will be collecting trees in the following postcodes:

BA1, BA2, BA3, BA4, BA11, BA12, BA13, BA14, BA15, SN11, SN12, SN13, SN14, SN15, SN16 and BS31

Don't miss out! The deadline for registering your tree is midnight on Sunday 7 January 2024.

Here's where your donation will make a difference in providing funds for vital patient care:

  • You could pay for an hour long visit by a Clinical Support Assistant by donating £18.
  • By donating £30 you could fund an hour-long session with one of our specialist Physiotherapists, using exercise and rehabilitation therapy to improve mobility and manage 
  • Your donation of £71 could fund an expert counsellor to run a support group session for young adults with a life-limiting illness, helping them feel less alone.

Collections will be from Friday 12th January to Sunday 14th January 2024.

Please ensure your tree is in the designated area as stated on sign-up by 8am on Friday 12th January.

To ensure a speedy collection they ask that trees are clearly marked ‘Dorothy House’.

If your tree has not been collected by 5pm on Sunday 14th January please get in touch with us by 5pm on  Tuesday 16th January, by emailing: christmastrees@dorothyhouse-hospice.org.uk to arrange recollection.

At Dorothy House, they provide exceptional care to people here in our community who are approaching death.
