A350 junctions to temporarily shut

From October 3 to November 5, 2021, Wiltshire Council will temporarily close the junctions to Kington Langley and Kington St Michael.

The closure is to replace the no longer fit for purpose lights and signalling technology on the A350 dual carriageway north of Chippenham at Plough Crossroads, Kington St Michael.

At the same time the council will also change all the streetlights to LEDs, resurface the junction, and install new road markings/studs between the Malmesbury Road roundabout at Chippenham and the M4 Junction 17 roundabout.

There will also be a temporary speed limit of 30mph in place in the area for the full period. The closure of the side roads will enable the A350 to remain open and free of traffic signals for the majority of the work.

Night-time road closures will be in operation for the resurfacing work, so expect delays in the area.
