Chippenham's Tiny Forest Monitoring Report

Chippenham’s Tiny Forest in Monkton Park is one of 149 Tiny Forests across the UK, which provide a unique opportunity to examine the environmental and social benefits of urban woodlands.

Throughout the past 12 months, forests all over the country have been monitored by almost 3,500 citizen scientists; a feat that would not have been possible by a small group of professional scientists.

Earthwatch Europe has produced a report to showcase the research ambition and initial findings from their five Tiny Forest research topics: biodiversity; flood management; tree growth and carbon storage; thermal comfort; and people and social benefits.
